If you want a vehicle which boasts a tremendous fuel economy, then the Toyota Avalon should be right up your street. It has won many awards for being one of the best large sedans in the world. It is the perfect vehicle for families and those longer trips. Add in the speed that the Toyota Avalon boasts, and you have a virtually ideal vehicle.
Toyota Avalon 0-60
Considering the size of the vehicle, the Toyota Avalon 0-60 is somewhere in the region of 6.5 seconds, with the quarter mile taking a fraction over 13 seconds. There is a lot of acceleration in this model, and you will struggle to find anything that even comes close to what the Toyota Avalon offers in this department.
It is not the most gas-conscious model in the Toyota range, but you should not expect it to be as it is a larger vehicle. The Avalon can give you 28.6 mpg, which indeed is not that bad. We were surprised at how little gas the vehicle consumed because it has a large V6 engine inside of it which is able to pump out 268 horsepower. Anybody who knows their cars will know that this is a lot of power.
Inside the vehicle, you will find leather upholstery, heated seats as standard, and a fantastic looking dashboard (more on that in a second). You can add more features if you wish for not a whole lot of extra money. For example; if you want your back seats heated, better audio, better leather, or a navigation system. If you are planning on touring with your vehicle, then you may want to opt for larger wheels.
Exterior and Interior of the Toyota Avalon
This is not the prettiest Toyota on the market now. That goes to the Camry. The Toyota Avalon is more about the classic approach, and this is OK. There are plenty of people out there who love the look of the Avalon through the years, and that is what they are going to get with this car. The only downside is that some of the angles on the vehicle look a little bit too ‘sharp’ on occasion.
Inside, the Toyota Avalon looks nice and straightforward, but it is still functional. The dashboard is easy to use. It is not as stylish as some other brands out there, but you are not going to be paying anywhere near the price of some of the larger brands, so we do not see this as a massive issue. The whole dashboard feels nice and smooth to use.
Regarding space, well, it is a five-seater vehicle, and it is a comfortable one at that with plenty of space in the back, front and even in the trunk. This is going to be the perfect vehicle to travel around in if you are planning one of your longer trips.
Conclusion
The Toyota Avalon comes in highly recommended. If you are looking for a fantastic sedan for not a whole lot of money, then this is going to be perfect for you.
