Overview

Engine
You will be amazed to see the engine specifications of this car. The second generation Audi R8, which was first revealed at the Geneva Car Show in 2015, arrived for 2017 model year in coupe variants. The new car has a lot of similarities when it comes to the chassis of the first generation model. It resembles a lot like the new Lamborghini Huracan. At first, this new car is equipped with the powerful and amazing 5.2-liter V-10 engine that offers a power of 532 HP and a torque of 398 lb-ft. It will also come with the second option of 601 HP and 413 lb-ft torque in the V10 Plus model. The automatic transmission will offer a seven-speed transmission with dual-clutch.
Exterior & Interior
Both the interior and exterior look of this coupe has a high standard. With leather seats and navigation facility it looks very classy and elegant. If you choose for the premium package, then you will get leather in all other parts of the center console, dash, etc. This coupe also comes with Bang and Olufsen system for the excellent audio experience. The seats are also powered with 18 ways of adjustments. So, you can adjust it according to your comfort. You can get the Carbon package with the premium package that will add carbon fiber inlay on the center console and also in the instrument panel and vents.
Verdict
Audi is planning to build 999 of this model. 320 out of those will come to the US (United States). The long black striped numbered dash plate will add it its elegance and significance. A major renovation and redesign are likely to be expected every five years. So, you will not get that much changes in the design or look. But you can expect a significant upgrade in the engines and performances. So, if you are looking forward to buying a sports coupe, then this is the perfect one for you.
