Although not on the same par with the popular MDX crossover, Acura RDX still rocks the market in its segments as well. As a luxury crossover, Acura RDX is a compact vehicle with a comfortable sitting for five.
One of the features selling this product is its cargo space of 76.9 cubic feet with the second row neatly folded and the front row moving forward. It transforms small crossover for hauling purposes.
0-60 and Engine specifications
When it comes to the 0-60 mph, RDX is not doing badly, though, is not the best in class as it records 6.2 seconds and reaches the quarter mile in 14. 8 seconds at 96 mph.
Acura RDX achieves the 0-60 using the 3.5-liter V-6 engine, raising the final output of HP by 6 points, with a torque of just one pound foot.
Exterior and interior design
If we put aside the dynamics for a while, the RDX is astonishing us with attractive features that are missing even in some high profile vehicles. It is very spacious, and the chairs are extremelly ergonomic, designed for maximum comfort.
The look is not too different from other members of the Acura family; the LED headlight is sturdy, which adds a new twist to a package that is already impressive.
It is all-wheel drive, and this comes as a surprise given its price and the fact that it is a modest product; yet, buyers are in for a show with a toy that touches the pavement on all the four wheels like true Trojan.
For those who think RDX is just about all wheels, you might get a little disappointed, it navigation systems are top notch, perhaps, this feature amazes people who are new to the car, because its navigational system is one of a kind.
With a powerful navigational tool, get ready for a great sunroof. It seems the little Acura RDX is more than its market value, with so many sophisticated features that it is equipped with.
Before drawing the curtain on its design, it is worth noting that it comes with lovely ELS audio system, a premium choice, compatible with Pandora. It has the Bluetooth connection too and a power tailgate.
Despite all the beautiful features, the car is up for grabs at a moderate price of $44,340. A good bargain in the luxury crossover compact vehicles market.
The verdict
Acura RDX offers a comfortable ride in the market of the luxury crossover compact vehicles. Easy handling, with a V6 power on all the four wheels, and a long list of features that are just on top of the game, no doubt, RDX is a coup in the industry and a good buy.
